Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell (2007, Hardcover)

$ 1.38

This book is almost like new, and it is a very great read. It is easy to read, the word size is not too big or small, and it should be fit for many ages and eye sight levels.

Since the days of King Arthur, there have been poems and paintings created in her name. She is Elaine of Ascolat, the Lady of Shalott, and now there is a book all her own. The year is 490 A.D. and 16-year-old Elaine has a temperament to match her fiery red hair. Living on a military base with her father, brothers, and the rest of Arthur’s army, Elaine pines for the handsome Lancelot, and longs for a female friend. But when the cruel, beautiful Gwynivere arrives, Elaine is confronted with startling emotions of jealousy and rivalry. Can Elaine find the strength to survive the birth of a kingdom?

My favorite

This book is my absolute favorite. The only reason I had to by a new one recently is because I wore the last one I had out where it was unreadable.

Lost library book

My child borrowed this book from the school library last August, started to read it and didn't like it. She returned it a few days later, but it never got checked into the system. The school was going to charge us $25 for the paperback version. I bought this used hardback in nearly new condition for about $5 to replace it. Much better than $25!Read full review...
