Nikon F3 35mm Film Camera with Better Non-HP Prism (32-8)
<MMString:LoadString id=”insertbar/namedAnchor” />
For years I have been saying that the F3 was undervalued. It really is a great camera. Recently the market has caught on and prices are soaring.
This is the original non-HP prism, which has a larger view and is better if you do not wear glasses ("HP" makes a smaller image that can be viewed from a greater distance so it is good if you cannot get your eye right up to the finder.
That makes a camera like this a find. A looker? No, but it does work well and the price is right.
It has a couple of issues. It is missing the exposure lock button, which most people never use, and there is a subtle engraving on the base (fifth photo, top left of the bottom).
Otherwise it is in good condition and works perfectly.

F3 is amazing
The Nikon F3 is one of, if not the best film slr ever. There's a reason its the longest produced Nikon camera ever. Extremely durable/reliable, beautiful design, great features, overall amazing camera. :)Read full review...
What’s not to like? It’s a Nikon F3!
Nikon F3 is the greatest 35mm film camera ever made. Solidly built with one of the most beautiful shutter sounds ever. Add to it the you can use every Nikon Lens made from the late 1950s to today.

.Very reliable camera with nice features
Excellent camera, built very strong and reliable. Worthwhile buy. Although the maximum speed is not high, it is normally sufficient for most real purposes (1/2000s). The weird thing is the flash whose attachment is not very commercial nowadays but it works very well using the correct adapter.
Very nice feeling when taking pictures, old school, most control.Read full review...

Great camera for the money. Considered to be one of the best from NIkon.
Thanks to the digital takeover, you buy a great camera like the Nikon F3 HP for a song. Take advantage of the features and rugged build quality and get the fun back into photography.
On a new set of silver oxide batteries you can take up to 5000 photos. If you do have a bad battery, you can still use this camera as a manual at 1/60th of a second shutter speed.
Takes all AL Nikon lenses so you can use all of your old lens which is a great feature.Read full review...
F3, a benchmark for camera quality
You can trust an F3 to keep on chugging, even after years of being left unused and unloved; put a new roll of film through it and it happily shoots away.
The facture quality throughout the range of accessories underscores Nikon's attempts to reach the top of the professional equipment market; a few AA batteries and everything operates like it was made yesterday.
The photo quality, the build quality, the longevity of parts, the accessory range, all are excellent. Most pros who've been servicing SLRs would have worked on at least one F3 before, and since they were made for years, there's still plenty of spare parts.
A great camera.Read full review...

One of the smartest choices in 35mm cameras. A+
The Nikon F3 is the last of the manual focus Nikon cameras (after F and F2), and it is wonderful. This electronic shutter camera was produced by Nikon for about 20 years. There is no shortage of excellent examples available for purchase on ebay. The camera handles well, the image is bright and easy to focus, many different finders and screens are available, and it takes all Nikkor AI and AIS lenses. The MD-4 motor can be found quite inexpensively. The motor is light and fast and it can also power the camera. This is an important point. Even if your camera battery fails, or if you simply do not have a battery for the camera, the AA batteries in the MD-4 motor will power both the motor and the camera body. My first love in Nikon was the F/F2. Once I started using the F3, I still had the manual feel, but many wonderful and easy-to-use features that the F3 offers, but the F and F2 do not. In my view, this camera receives an A+.Read full review...

Great classics camera!!
This camera works great! The first set of photos came out very nice. I think I might get a different lens. The zoom is great but I’d like something smaller. That’s not a strike against this camera—I’ve wanted this camera for 3 years and so happy to get my hands on it!!!Read full review...

My new favorite camera
I'm finally getting around to write a review after going through a couple of rolls. First off, I really want to thank you for the handwritten note and also printouts for the Nikon F3, it was a very kind and personal touch. The camera was exactly as mentioned in the listing and came with a lot of additional items which I really appreciated. I've had a lot of fun shooting with my new F3 and I really can't say anything bad about it.Read full review...

Loving My Nikon F3HP
Super excited to have one of the professional grade Nikon film cameras in my hands again. While I do love my Nikon D800e image quality, the size and rock solid feel of this work of art, along with the more organic feel of film images has been something I have missed and am enjoying reaquainting myself with! The F3HP is just a flat out sexy camera that still provides outstanding performance even in this digital age:)Read full review...
